Always thought monks should get a ranged item that can be used for pulling that could compete with bow and arrow (not dmg-wise). Like a Slingshot or blowdart...
Then the Ammo Stars, darts, stones, whatnot could also add range. Range being rather important for pulling. (along with lvl, hps, agro radius, sneaking / being visible)

Also, something I would like to see is a quest or something in a zone that you could trigger to catapult a monk across a zone to reach something. (safefall allowing them to survive the flight ^_^) Would be SO FUN!!

I don't think they ever added any range items for monks that didnt include throwing, but Secrets of Faydwer does have a cannon that the gnomes shoot people out of!

I'd say dont drool over the first link without knowing someone in a high level guild that could get you there, seeing as its a raid drop. That being said,the second link would be possible to attain at 80 (because of req to use) and only require you learning a monster mission.
